David, you have been, & still are the true love of my life. A puppy mill puppy I got at a pet store. You captured my heart with your beautiful blue eyes, & your gentle playfulness. No matter how badly the puppy mill people had treated you, when you came to me, you were always so very, very happy, & always so very loving. You were the only furry family member who was like that, except Muffin.
How broke my heart is without you here with me my dear Davey. If only I could have been more knowledgeable about that dreaded disease that took you away from me. I know you don't blame me, but I don't know that I will ever be able to forgive myself. I tried to be there for you, but feel I fell short of what you needed & deserved. Having said all that my dear big blue eyed boy, always know I will never forget you, nor will I ever stop loving you. Until we meet again in Heaven, I love you eternally, & with all my heart.
