Pet Loss Counselling.

When a beloved pet or animal companion passes away we can feel a very acute sense of loss.

Pet loss counselling can help us with that loss, and help us to come to terms with our feelings. Although we sometimes think of counselling as a very formal approach to coping with the loss of our pet, counselling can also be a very personal thing…..

Any counselling is even self counselling is best when it is presented by someone who has suffered and come through a similar loss.

Pet loss is a very personal thing and there is a way that you can start to overcome that loss with the help from someone who has had the same experience as you.

I have found this ebook which is written by Robin Jean Brown, taken from her own personal experiences of pet loss, she guides you through the loss and healing process.

Here are the opening lines from her web site and a link so that you can read more…

"All pet lovers have to face the death of their pets, sooner or later.

Other people don’t understand what it’s like. They may think that “it’s just a dog,” “only a cat,” or “just a rabbit.” But you and I know that the pain of loss that we feel is very deep and very real.

You see, it’s not only the loss through the death of your animal...but also the losses of companionship, comfort, security and love...that cause your pain.

Robin Jean Brown faced that journey when her beloved companion animal died in April 2005 after a long, painful ordeal with brain cancer."
